ABOUT
Lewis has coached hundreds of youth athletes to improve their physical performance in elite environments.
He has worked with the Women's Development Squad at Manchester City FC since 2020 and led their physical development programme to improve movement speed, fitness, strength and power for football performance.
He has also spent 4 years as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at a City of Manchester Aquatics Swim Team, a Swim England Performance Centre based in Manchester, working with National and International swimmers aged 16-25.
From 2019-2021, he led the Strength and Conditioning support to scholarship athletes at Manchester Metropolitan University, working with athletes from a vast range of sports such as Cycling, Wrestling, Climbing, Water Polo, Taekwondo, Athletics, Rugby and more.
Prior to this, he spent over 5 years at Blackburn Rovers FC Academy as the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach working with players from under 9s through to under 23 professional players.
With vast experience working with athletes aged between 8-25, from aspiring youth athletes through to professionals, Lewis developed the vision to be able to give the opportunity for all youth athletes to access a high level strength and conditioning service and developed Physical Performance Academy.
Personally, he enjoys utilising all training methods with a focus on strength training and a variety of fitness training methods to feel better, look better and maintain health for life.
